Ignorant artistic critiquing...
I don't know much about art but I know enough to say that this here painting is shithouse:

If the Archibald Prize was aimed at preserving the memory of "great Australians", what can be more pompous and self-indulgent than a self-portrait? And hello? "Janus-Faced"? Can his imagery be more obvious and hackneyed? No.
If there had to be a winner surely it should have been Paul Jackson's portrait of Gretel Killeen:

For nothing else if not for showing her as the washed up, desperate, strung out hag she is. Go Paul Jackson!
